This same smile first leaves your heart aglow, Then giggles and laughs when tickled on toes. This same smile howls at duck-duck-goose, Then beams with joy over a wiggly loose tooth.

This same smile holds a mouthful of braces, Then changes with teenage moods and faces. This same smile broadens with youthful bliss, Then leaves the nest with a farewell kiss.
